Guadulupe Moreno who is an analyst from the World Economic Forum mentioned that following the latest data released by the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), Mexico is the ninth tourist power across the entire planet.
And, therefore it is not surprising that this portion of the globe is also the prestigious leader of the tourism sector in Latin America.
In the year 2015, a total of 32.09 million international travellers had arrived in this country. It represents a figure that is much above that of its neighbours.
Furthermore, the organization has also added that it has been estimating that an overwhelming 79 million people in the year 2020 and 110 million people in 2030 are likely to make a dash for this richly endowed Latin American destination that is gradually sporting its fresh appeal as a popular tourist destination.
The most visited nations here are Brazil and Mexico.
But, despite the rising levels of tourism witnessed by both these nations it should be noted that Mexico actually receives a greater number of visitors as compared to any other country located in the region of Latin America.
It makes the region the most preferred tourist destination of Latin America.
Furthermore, the expectations are likely to raise the tourist arrivals to Mexico in 79 million tourists for the year 2020 and 110 million tourists for the year 2030.
