The MICE Arabia & Luxury Travel Congress will host the fifth edition of the event at the luxurious Palazzo Versace Hotel in Dubai on March 1stand 2nd, 2017. The proud host of the event is Dubai based, QNA International.
Staged annually in Dubai, it’s the regions niche, vibrant, by invitation only, business to business event that brings together a diverse range of destinations and international travel professionals from industries across the globe
GCC’s MICE activities are increasing in number with more organizations recognizing the importance of incentives to increase productivity. Outbound MICE and luxury tourism from the region is estimated at AED 20 billionfor an approximate 35 million tourists according to WTO estimates.
A major trend seen in outbound MICE and luxury travel from the Middle East is the shift towards unique experiences be it cultural, historical or natural. Exclusivity and high quality standards remains at the top of the agenda for this market. In fact, the shift in luxury tourism is also apparent in the MICE sector where incentive programmes tend to include more individualized free time for relaxation, shopping or optional excursions recognizing that participants have different tastes and tend to stay longer.
Hosted under the theme ‘GCC’s Exclusive B2B Luxury Travel Platform’ the congress will see hoteliers, destination management companies, concierge services, team building, tourism boards and other suppliers of varied categories from around the world who can customize their offerings to MICE needs and explore potential business opportunities.
The Congress will feature expert sessions on how to create meaningful supplier relationships, technology trends and the latest on how travel buyers and managers can keep their programs relevant to changing needs, and of course, the crux of the event lies in sealing business deals and getting the most out of the pre-arranged business meetings interwoven into the two day congress.
Speaking about the congress, Sidh NC, Director, Conferences, QNA International said “The 2016 edition of the MICE Arabia Congress boasted of a whopping 1800 meetings during the two day period and with the 2017 edition, we intend on raising the bar even further for the event. The congress is a powerful initiative to harness the immense potential of the MICE industry in the Middle East with the surety of generating long lasting business relations and increasing revenue many folds. The conference program aims to provide a realistic picture of what to expect for the MICE and business travel from the region.”
