Pune airport authorities have directed their staff to be more vigilant about providing passengers with proper services and reducing their hassles at the airport during the late evening hours after Sunday’s direction, after a direction came from minister of state for civil aviation which came from minister of state for civil aviation Jayant Sinha.
With frequent travellers pointing out a wide range of issues cropping up during the late evening hours at the airport, authorities said they were trying to improve facilities and fresh instructions had been sent out now.
“As far as the social media message that sent by a passenger is concerned, the matter has been taken up seriously. We have always be en providing the best possible service to flyers arriving at and leaving from the airport. The passenger had tweeted a picture of people carrying their baggage around 11.30pm on July 22. This timing comes under the peak hours at the airport. However, necessary instructions have been given and the staff has been asked to follow them,” speaking to the media an airport official said.
