At the Norman Manley International Airport, upon her arrival, the 24-year-old was welcomed by Delano Seiveright, senior advisor in the Ministry of Tourism and Mickey Haughton-James, head of Miss Jamaica World organisation,
“Solange has made our country proud. She was very popular and her fluency in Spanish and French endeared her to a lot of people. She represented Jamaica very well and also gave our island nation a lot of positive publicity globally,” said Seiveright.
Seiveright observed that the Jamaica Government will work in tandem with Sinclair and the Miss Jamaica World organization in attaining the national and international social objectives.
Sinclair is cousin of Kaci Fennell, 2014 Miss Universe Jamaica title holder. Fennell is also the granddaughter of late Jamaican Hollywood actress Madge Sinclair. She is also niece of Cable & Wireless Caribbean president Garry Sinclair.
