The iconic Parisian five-star hotel, Molitor has welcomed Laura Cuinier as its new Director of Sales, joining the team during an exciting year as the hotel celebrates its 90th anniversary.

Laura Cuinier’s appointment follows the most recent additions to the Molitor team which includes Gregory Millon as General Manager and Chef Nader Hassan, who oversees the vibrant dining options, Brasserie Urbaine and the seasonal roof-terrace.  Laura brings extensive sales experience with a focus on MICE, leisure and corporate clients, and business development with a particular focus on the UK, French and US markets. She has previously worked with a number of prestigious Parisian hotels including The Peninsula Paris where she was Director of Sales for over five years, and prior to that, International Sales Manager at Hotel Plaza Athenée.

The business and MICE market is a key focus for Molitor – regularly hosting both large and small scale events with a variety of spaces providing stunning and unique backdrops, such as space for 700 at the historic Winter Pool which has been used by prominent brands such as Lanvin and Nike, as well as an immersive gallery featuring some of the biggest names in street art on its walls.

On her appointment, Laura Cuinier commented that she is thrilled to join the Molitor team, especially during its significant 90th anniversary year. Business travellers and MICE planners love Molitor as it provides something incredible. It’s all about this perfect marriage of luxury, lifestyle and fun. The Molitor experience is different and all-encompassing – from our varied event spaces, including a rooftop terrace and two pools (indoor & outdoor), to the art displays that adorn the walls and the Art Cabins surrounding the Winter Pool where you can organise team-building escape games, and the wellness offering at our Spa by Clarins – the largest spa in Paris.

The U.K. remains one of Molitor’s key focus markets and they are striving to attract more international visitors from both a business and leisure perspective. She is looking forward to further showcasing their extensive offering, working with their trade partners to strengthen existing and forge new relationships.

The 90th anniversary celebrations have been taking place throughout the year, with a focus on celebrating Molitor’s rich past whilst looking to the future – including the release of Molitor Vinyl Volume 1, a vinyl of original tracks inspired by Molitor’s energy and creativity. On 10th October, Molitor will launch a special celebratory coffee-table book – Molitor: Vibrations Artistiques (Molitor: Artistic Vibrations) – introducing readers to Molitor’s history and its art displays.
