More Service Means More Record Passenger Totals at Orlando International Airport

Orlando International AirportAugust travel numbers are in and Orlando International Airport (MCO) registered a 7.4 percent increase in passenger traffic led by a nearly 10 and a half percent rise in international passenger volume.

 

“As Orlando International Airport continues to attract new airline service and routes, we have been able to maintain double-digit international passenger growth on a consistent basis,” says Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “This in turn grows this destination and helps to further stimulate the local economy.”

While traffic was up in August, indicators are that passenger numbers will continue to reflect the access provided by new routes and services being introduced at Orlando International.
