Moroccan arrested in Majorca planning to target tourists

Moroccan arrestedA Moroccan man was arrested in Majorca in suspicion of close link with Islamist militants.  The man had planned to act as suicide bomber to blow away tourists in the busy tourist destination.


He was accused of recruiting fighters in Syria and Iraq and commissioning potential attacks in Spain and across Europe.


A team of 15 Spanish police raided an apartment in Son Gotleu district of Palma. The ones arrested were from the ISIS group planning another major attack in across Europe this summer, targeting tourists by posing as ice cream and T-Shirt sellers.



Jihadists are planning to appear in European cities pretending to sell refreshments before detonating suicide vests and bombs buried under sun loungers at Spanish, French and Italian resorts, a German media revealed. They are planning bloodshed in popular holiday resorts the German equivalent of MI6 revealed.



The Italians got a tipoff from credible African source on the suicide bombing. The bomber had divulged the information who planned to pose as refugee serving tourists drinks and snakes and hawking T-shits.



Their plan included the use of automatic weapons on crowded waterfronts, suicide bombing and explosive devices buried in sand beneath sun loungers.



The place where the ISIS plans to target tourists is resorts in southern France, the Costa del Sol in Spain and both coasts in Italy. Police are worried about this form of terrorism as the holiday beaches cannot be protected. Last year the attacks on Tunisia left 38 people dead.



Boko Haram the Nigerian terror group has allied with the Isis and is planning to target tourists. They cooperate with leadership at high level and regular African travellers to Europe disguise their loyalty are part of these groups.


These high profile people are said to travel regularly from Italy and other places with proper documents. Viewed as business travellers or traders they are responsible in spreading dangerous plans and are posing threat to holiday makers in Europe.
