This North African nation is reliant on a dynamic presence in the Indian tourism industry in the following years, according to Abderrafie Zouiten, the Director General of the Moroccan National Tourist Office (MNTO).
In an interview to the regional news media agency, Zouiten said that India is known to possess a large middle class amounting to 300 million that can be beautifully tapped by the tourism sector of Morocco.

He mentioned that the Morocco-Indian ties have become stronger particularly after the visit of King Mohammed VI to New Delhi in October 2015 for the India-Africa Forum Summit. He said that the Kingdom, via a new office in India would be able to place itself favorably in the tourism market.
The meeting also highlighted on the wonderful tourism potential of Morocco as a stable destination for travellers.
The Moroccan side also focused on the rich natural heritage and the historical monuments of the kingdom.
Zouiten also recalled that India had been an honorable guest at the Marrakech International Film Festival in 2012, commemorating the 100th anniversary of Bollywood. And also he stated that New Delhi has been the guest of honor at the 22nd edition of the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music in 2016.
