In Mount Bromo’s Tengger Semeru National Park that is located in East Java, the popular tourist attraction Bukit Penanjakan, also known as Penanjakan Hill would be closed for tourists for three months starting from 11st September, 2017.
The park management has mentioned in a circulated letter, as reported by the local news media that due to certain renovations being made to facilities at Bukit Penanjakan, this region would be closed for tourists from 11th September till 10th December.
The ‘pendopo’ (pavilion), stairs and tribune of the plane is slated for removal in order to create more space for tourists.
Sarif Hidayat who is the head of the reporting evaluation data and public relations subdivision at the park said that the management would also make efforts to create new entry and exit pathways for visitors and also repair all its fences.
The tourists have been advised to visit the other spots of the famous travel attraction like the viewpoints available across the park.
