Cinnamon Resort & BeachRecently, Green Globe praised Mount Cinnamon Resort & Beach Club in terms of receiving recertification for the fourth year consecutively.

Mount Cinnamon Resort & Beach Club is well-known for its exotic location a tucked away on the spectacular hillside of Grand Anse Beach in Grenada. Mount Cinnamon is famous for its comfortable, fully-furnished villas and suites. Also, its quiet popular for offering unprecedented service wherein guests are addressed by their first-name. Side by side, the huge property takes immense pleasure in its strong commitment toward the sustainability of the environmental.

This exclusive resort has been constructed by keeping sustainability in mind, like it has open-air restaurants, local artwork, farm-to-table menus, and property-wide gardens with verdant local fauna. Mount Cinnamon Resort in the past four years, have strictly followed formal sustainability efforts promoted by Green Globe Certification.

Jonnel Edwards, Marine Biologist & Environmental Sustainability Consultant at the resort said, “Mount Cinnamon has come a long way with regards to formalizing our environmental sustainability program. Thanks to a passionate Green Team, cooperative management and owners, environmentally conscious guests, and a local community that facilitates our growth, we look forward to continuing our sustainability program and annual Green Globe Certification.”
To preserve the rich biodiversity of this place, the resort’s Green Team carried on a progressive march in order to increase consciousness among the common people in terms of Endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle. To participate in the event, six local schools were invited which was hosted in Grenada, St. George’s capital city. This march was organized by Mount Cinnamon in the month of March along with the partnership with local NGOs. This was an initiation to make the locals aware of adverse effects of poaching and stop such illegal activities.
