There will be an additional deck and larger cabin, the two new 5,646-passenger Seaside EVO ships is expected to be a further evolution of the Seaside class prototype. It will have more cabins and a larger Yatch Club.
By 2026 there will be 12 new ships with an overall investment of €10.5 billion. Atleast one new vessel will be delivered every year until 2026.
Pierfrancesco Vago, MSC’s executive chairman said that the MSC Seaside’s service will mark another key milestone in the history and the future of the company.
The wholly-innovative product will set a new standard for the industry to follow, infact it is the first ship of the fifth new prototype that has been brought into service.
The Seaside class of ships will enable the ships closer to the sea and operate in sunny waters.Although it will continue to push boundaries of maritime and guest-centric technology.
Vago further added that they were in a better position to extend the global footprint with the addition of two Seaside EVO ships. It has two of the more innovative news ships in the industry into service in the past six months.
It is expected that at least one new ship each year will be delivered through 2026 while six of it is expected to come in service between 2017 and 2020.
