Lufthansa is offering latest cabin facilities in the Airbus A330-300 including Premium Economy with 21 seats. With this new connection the Lufthansa Group is expanding its daily offer with a Boeing B747-400 from Frankfurt.
Thomas Winkelmann, Chief Executive, Lufthansa Munich hub said that Iran has gained greater significance with culture tourists and due to increasing business relations, they are expecting a significantly higher demand in the future.
After spring 2004 to summer 2006, Lufthansa is again starting its connections between Munich and Tehran.
The Iranian capital is situated at an altitude of around 1,100 metres above sea-level and boasts a wealth of attractions including three ski resorts.
The metropolis has more than ten million inhabitants.
Half of the Iranian industries are located in Teheran, especially the oil and gas industries.
Other economic sectors are the textile, agriculture and building materials industries.
