Myanmar Tourism Marketing has announced new tourist attractions in the country. Among the newly launched tourism sites, one of the biggest highlights is the Secretariat building, which is considered to be one of the biggest colonial buildings in Southeast Asia. The building has now been opened to the public, and guided tours are being offered in it four times a day.
Myanmar also promotes the wild life tourism by promoting the new resorts, which have been opened in Bago Yama forests, which are known for their elephant population. Also, a new resort has come up on the pristine Zikhone village beach, thus making it a new destination that is primed to attract tourists.
The Myanmar Ministry of Hotel & Tourism is also taking serious measures in promoting the tourism by once again allowing permits for travelling overland from Inle Lake to Keng Tung through highway No 4.
This road trip is famous for being one of the most scenic drives in Myanmar, and is also known for offering opportunities to the international travellers for overland road trips to Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, and China.
