In an effort to steer the tourists away from difficult and unethical wildlife experiences, for tourists, National Geographic has recently published five tips. To stop animals’ suffering, one must walk lightly and keep an eye for red flags.
Thorough research, of course, is crucial. As visitors love animals and the industry can be receptive, we must all understand potentially misleading terms like “gives back to conservation,” “sanctuary,” and “rescue,” and look for in keeping experiences genuinely wild, respectful and observant.
