NCL announced the name of next ship

norwegianNorwegian Encore will be Norwegian Cruise Line’s next ship and sail weekly Caribbean cruises from Miami starting in November 2019.

 

 

In October 2019 the vessel will be delivered and will sail the Caribbean from Miami.

 

 

At Meyer-Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany yesterday (January 31) where construction on the ship began with a traditional steel-cutting ceremony Andy Stuart, NCL’s president and chief executive, revealed the vessel’s name.

 

 

Set to debut in April Encore will be the fourth and a final addition to NCL’s Breakaway Plus-class alongside Norwegian Escape, Norwegian Joy and Norwegian Bliss.

 

 

The ship is due for delivery on October 31 next year with capability of accommodating 4,000 guests, will open in March.

 

 

 

Stuart  while announcing the vessel’s name said Encore would be making “a brief stop” in the UK before heading to its homeport of Miami.

 

 

From Miami it will sail weekly seven-day Caribbean cruises each Sunday.

 

 

Stuart further said that Norwegian Encore will be the ultimate Breakaway Plus Class vessel and they were thrilled to celebrate the start of construction for this incredible new ship.
