New Gourmet Menu at Kitchen District, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon

_logo_hyatt_regencyGurgaon’s multi-cuisine restaurant Kitchen District has introduced a gourmet menu bursting with new flavours and textures. Vibrant and warm, Kitchen District offers five standalone kitchens designed to offer distinctive cuisines yet coexisting in perfect harmony to form a singular culinary district.

Specially curated by a team of passionate chefs, the new menu is light on the palate and stomach, using fresh and interesting ingredients. The extensive menu focuses on handpicked dishes from the coastal regions around the Mediterranean, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China cooked to perfection. Dishes are created using simple, traditional cooking methods – grilled, steamed, stir fried, and baked which bring out the true essence of the cuisine.

One could sample the delicate Asian flavours with favorites like money bag dumplings, Masaman Gai (coconut based chicken, shrimp curry), Gang Dang Pad (Red Duck curry) and pineapple fried rice amongst other delicacies. The Indian dishes are equally noteworthy. Highly recommended are the Char Minar kebabs, dum biryani and gosht Rajwari that bring out the soul of Indian food. The star attraction this summer season is the light and flavorful Japanese cuisine which is fast gaining popularity amongst discerning food connoisseurs. The new Japanese menu offers delightful selections like the Regency Roll filled with salmon, avocado and cream cheese. One could also try the delicate Sashimi platter, Tempura Soba (buckwheat noodles with soup and tempura prawns), Wakame Jiru (seaweed, spring onion soup) and Ika Shiokara (fermented squid). Finally the gratifying meal comes to an end on a sweet note with scrumptious desserts like Yuzu Crème Brulee and the very fragrant lemongrass Consomme (honey, ginger, pannacotta and mango jelly).

On launching the new menu, Liam Crotty, Executive Chef at Hyatt Regency Gurgaon says, “Being a globetrotter and having gathered knowledge about different cultures and food, I have specially designed the menu with one idea in mind – “global cuisines as per the local flavor”.”
