The grant will help projects that will attract people to the downtowns, highlighting exclusive ideas or those that fill a niche and will match investment dollar for dollar up to ten thousand like art galleries, or public bicycle stations.
“Really there’s a lot of opportunities and that’s why we wanted to keep it wide enough that it would appeal to communities across the state,” said Sara Otte Coleman, Marketing director.
The department is allowing applications from January through February.
