Tivoli’s latest addition to the portfolio of meeting and conference venues is the Hans Christian Andersen Hall. The 500 sq. metres room holds up to 320 guests if seated at round tables. Making use of the ground floor room and impressive foyer you have a spectacular and versatile venue for any event or function.
The hall is located in Tivoli’s Hans Christian Andersen Castle (so named in 1978) was built as Denmark’s first museum for the decorative arts in 1893. Its history is visible in the faux renaissance style of the building and the majestic entry hall. The ground floor room was previously the Tivoli Museum. A few select items are still on display.
As Tivoli is also Denmark’s leading amusement park and a major cultural venue, it is possible to spice up any gathering with a roller coaster ride, a guided tour, a ballet or concert performance, a visit from the Tivoli Boys Guard or one of the numerous other offers on hand at this 170 year old Danish favourite. Tivoli’s Sales and Banquet staff give expert advice on options for catering, entertainment etc.
Every year Tivoli reports on its CSR activities including buying electricity from renewable sources, a general focus on saving energy, and recycling waste. For example, Tivoli’s re-usable cups system saves the purchase of c. 1 million disposable cups per year.
