The new website will have a responsive design and access to thousands of crowd-sourced images.
There will be a section for travel professionals that will have event calendars and suggested themed focused itineraries located within the city.
The website was created in partnership with New Orleans Tourism Marketing Corporation.
It is expected to maximise the collective reach and effectiveness of local tourism industry.
Neil Jones, account director, New Orleans Metropolitan Convention & Visitors Bureau, in the UK and Ireland was confident about the new intuitive design and inspiring content. He said that the new website will be resourceful for their travel trade partners who want to grow business.
The city is celebrating its tercentennial throughout 2018.
