With summer just around the corner, Mandarin Oriental, Geneva announces a new seasonal dining concept with its pop-up restaurant, La Riviera by Mandarin Oriental. Following the success of its authentic Swiss chalet experience at the hotel’s Café Calla this winter, the restaurant will completely transform itself into a lively Côte d’Azur restaurant from 16 May to 30 September 2016.
La Riviera by Mandarin Oriental will offer authentic South of France specialties from seafood to sunny vegetables, complemented by Provence herbs and served with a touch of modernity, in a relaxed summer ambiance along the River Rhone in the very heart of Geneva. Menu highlights will include Pissaladière, petits farcis, Bouillabaisse and Pastis flambé king prawns along with many other culinary delights from chefs Nasser Jeffane and Yoann Le Bihan., all complemented by an excellent selection of Provençale wines, including a wide choice of rosé.
As the hotel’s Executive Chef, Yoann developed his culinary expertise with the masters of the Provençal gastronomy; two Michelin starred Chefs Christian Willer from Hôtel Martinez and Bruno Oger from Hôtel Majestic, both in Cannes.
Decorated in elegant white and beige tones, the restaurant will offer a real touch of Provence with lush olive trees and colourful, creative artworks by Paulin Nikolli, a local Nice artist. The restaurant will be complemented by a lovely riverside Parisian-style terrace.
Until the end of September, La Riviera by Mandarin Oriental will be open every day for lunch from 12 to 2.30pm and for dinner from 7 to 10.30pm. Reservations are recommended.
