Ryanair has announced a brand new route to Sofia – the capital city of Bulgaria – for winter 2016 from Glasgow Airport. The airline, which launched its first service from Glasgow Airport in October 2014, will also add new services to popular sunshine hotspots including Alicante, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Malaga, and will also fly to Berlin six times a week.
Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is located at the foot of Vitosha Mountain in the western part of the country and is renowned for its major universities and cultural institutions.
Ryanair’s winter 2016 schedule will deliver:
5 new routes to Alicante (3 wkly), Gran Canaria (1 wkly), Lanzarote (2 wkly), Malaga (4 wkly) & Sofia (2 wkly)
12 routes including Derry, Dublin, London Stansted, Riga, Warsaw & Wroclaw
More flights to Berlin (6 x wkly)

Ryanair will continue to connect Glasgow with Europe’s major centres of business through high frequency services, including Dublin (3 daily) and London (4 daily), with more flights, better timings and the lowest fares, making Ryanair the ideal choice for business and leisure customers.
