New York Magazine calls Louisville a “design-hound destination” in a recent travel post titled “The Five-Point Weekend Escape Plan: Find Design Inspiration in Louisville.”
Several local hotels, restaurants, shops and more are spotlighted, including the 21c Museum Hotel, which is lauded as being a place to “glean inspiration from the impressive art displayed throughout.”
New York Magazine also gives a nod to local shop Revolver for its “well-edited selection,” and Scout, known for its chic home furnishings and accessories, receives a shout-out for bringing a “campy attitude to serious design.”
Other local venues that get props for being design-inspiration darlings include Decca, Blue Dog Bakery, 610 Magnolia, Architectural Salvage, Canoe, Goss Avenue Antiques & Interiors, Bittners and GraleHaus, Louisville’s first designed-focused bed and breakfast slated to open in December.
