It is the first business in the car rental industry of New Zealand to have received this award for its expertise is the sphere of sustainable business practices. Qualmark is known to offer a reliable guide in terms of transportation, accommodation options as well as attractions for travellers.
Businesses displaying the Qualmark symbol have been independently validated and have also met the standard quality requirements and environmental criteria.
James Dalglish who is the general manager of GO Rentals said that they were thrilled to be leading the industry into the endorsement enriched with the Qualmark Gold level. He added that as a business, they would be focusing on the safety, quality, environmental mindfulness and value.
The general manager of Qualmark New Zealand, Cameron Lawrence said that business receiving a Qualmark Gold Sustainable Tourism Award have been identified as leading the path in ensuring that the tourism industry of New Zealand emerges as an important visitor destination.
Each of the businesses of Qualmark are evaluated to make sure that the delivery of quality experience environmental, health and safety performance, said Lawrence.
GO Rentals was launched in the year 1999.
It had embarked on this journey with just a few vehicles and one location. Today, it represents an entire fleet of 3,000 vehicles approximately, and six locations across New Zealand.
