From May to August is the peak time of domestic tourism. To attract tourist in this summer, for several months, travel firms in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa has promoted marketing for the destination as well as their tourist products at tourism fairs in Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi and some other provinces. Additionally, they have welcomed famtrip groups from Hai Phong, Can Tho and Ha Noi to survey about tourism of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa.
“4 groups of tourists from Ha Noi, Hai Phong and Ho Chi Minh City have booked our tours in May and early June. They are old partners and also are new ones we found through our marketing”, said Le Kim Nhut, director of Nha Trang Tre Travel Co., Ltd..
Nguyen Phi Hong Nguyen, director of AnhnguyenTour Company shared, “We have taken about 300 tourists to Nha Trang. This is a result of our marketing strategy.”
Meanwhile, to raise the number of domestic tourists, Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association has launched two seasons of domestic travel stimulation with a lot of promotions.
In this summer, tourist spots in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa have made good preparations with new services or promotions for tourists.
For example, I-resort Nha Trang has set up some floating items in its mineral water park. This tourist spot also has promotion for local visitors in mid-week days. Thap Ba Hot Spring has upgraded its mineral water swimming pool for better service. 100-Egg Theme Park has launched 20% discount on sight-seeing, mud bath, mineral water bath for individual visitors.
Monkey Island has renewed swimming pools for monkeys and launched games of monkeys racing motorbikes and rollerblade. Hoa Lan Stream Tourist Area also will organize Monkey Festival and Red whiskered Bulbul bird competition in July.
In big hotels like InterContinental Nha Trang, Sunrise Nha Trang, Novotel Nha Trang, Sheraton Nha Trang, etc., there are weekly buffets and promotions for room prices.
