Lately, the NTUR or the Nicaragua Tourism Board has improved its tourism promotion and representation contract with Myriad International Marketing by reappointing the Los Angeles-based agency as the U.S.A. and Canada representative. From now on, Myriad, an MMGY Global company will take care of all tourism marketing, trade promotion, and public relation need for all Central American destination.
“We are very excited to continue our partnership with Myriad and MMGY Global in the North American market, and are confident the agency will help sustain and grow Nicaragua’s momentum in these priority markets,” said Ana Carolina Garcia, INTUR’s promotion and marketing director.
In August last year, INTUR first nominated Myriad as its North America representative. Nicaragua effectively hosted important travel trade initiatives in market along with organizing over a dozen media visits in its first year of working together. This helped in a constant rise in earned media coverage along with North American arrivals. By over 70 percent, arrivals from North America have increased in comparison to last year. At one of the latest reports by the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), it has been exposed that Nicaragua has become one of the top ten world’s fastest growing destinations for 2017.
