Niagara-Falls-48977Niagara Falls International Airport is emerged as the tourists’ airport, but not the business airport, so that the airline authority does not add the additional airlines for the transportation of Niagara Falls.

Pascal Cohen, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority’s manager of aviation business development said that the most logical growth of the airlines is in the carriers that are there now and they understand the market best. Only tourism is flourished in Niagara.

The business travellers are going to use the Buffalo airport and Niagara Falls is a tourist market, not a business market. The local tour operators and the travel agents are not happy with the decision of the airlines authorities of the Niagara. The airlines are providing the services which are mainly leisure-based and Niagara is no0 doubt a luxury destination.

Spirit Airlines and Allegiant Airlines are carrying loads of passengers to the Florida destinations.

The airline authorities and the tourism board of the Niagara also hopes that there will be surge of tourists in Niagara and if that happen the number of airlines can also increased.
