In the forthcoming NorthPhil Tourism and Travel Expo, various attractions of four regions in Luzon will be displayed. The event will take place at the SM City in Clark, Pampanga from November 17th to 19th.
The three-day event, the Department of Tourism (DOT) explained, “marks NorthPhil’s rise as a tourism superregion and global destination, with CAR [Cordillera Administrative Region] as a hub for natural wonders, Region 1 [Ilocos region] for history and culture, Region 2 [Cagayan Valley] for all-terrain adventures and Region 3 [Central Luzon] for sports, agri-tourism and culinary” escapades.
DOT Region 3 Officer in Charge Carol de Guzman-Uy stated that the different attractions in those four regions include a “complete menu of fun activities and destinations” accessible by air, sea and land, making the northern Philippines a “tourism megamall.”
“Such attributes will be showcased in the NorthPhil exhibits and shows for the entire duration of the expo, with all the tourism-industry sectors participating,” Uy added.
At the time of the expo, participants may explore the provincial pavilions and corporate booths for tour packages; go through the industry dialogs on sustainable tourism, take part in quiz-bee challenge, cultural presentations, game shows, crafts and arts demo and fashion show at the same time join in raffle draws, among others.
