This airliner has also decided to start services from Paris Charles de Gaulle to Newark, Oakland and Boston. The ultra-low-cost carrier would be flying between London Gatwick and Chicago O’ Hare four times weekly starting from 25th March. The new services would commence three times between Gatwick and Austin would start from 27th March.
Norwegian would be the only air carrier that would be operating on both the routes.
But then, British Airways would be flying between Austin and London Heathrow while United, American Airlines and United each fly to Chicago O’Hare to Heathrow. Norwegian would be would be flying both routes with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The planes are divided into premium economy and economy cabins.
Norwegian would be serving 17 airports in the U.S. and its territories with the addition of Austin and Chicago.
The Boston-Paris route would be flying four times every week commencing from 2nd May next year. Norwegian would be flying from Paris to Oakland four times every week beginning from 10th April. The Newark route would be launched from 28th February and would be operated six times every week.
Norwegian would compete against United, Delta and La Compagnie on Paris-Newark.
Presently, no airline flies Oakland-Paris, through there are three carriers that serve the French capital from nearby San Francisco.
