Norwegian, the World’s Best Low-Cost Long-Haul Airline for the third consecutive year and Europe’s Best Low-Cost Airline for the fifth consecutive year, last night launched its first flight from Orlando International Airport to Paris’ Charles De Gaulle Airport. Flights will operate once per week on Mondays, with a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft. Norwegian now offers more European connections from Orlando than any other airline.
“Norwegian continues to offer more Americans easier and more affordable access to Paris. We are proud that Norwegian now offers more connections to Europe from Orlando than any other airline. These new flights will also bring thousands of more tourists to Florida and support the local economy,” said Thomas Ramdahl, Norwegian’s Chief Commercial Officer.
“Paris has always been a global destination that appeals to Central Florida travelers and this new Norwegian Air nonstop service to Paris from Orlando should help to further strengthen the social and economic ties that connect our two great communities,” says Phil Brown, Executive Director of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “This addition also makes Norwegian one of our busiest airlines with service to other popular European markets from Orlando.”
Norwegian recently announced new routes to Paris from Boston, Denver, Newark and Oakland that will launch in 2018. Additionally, service from Fort Lauderdale to Paris will launch later this month, on August 22, operating twice weekly.
All fares are now available for sale on Norwegian’s website. Additionally, the website’s low fare calendar displays the lowest available fares to all of Norwegian’s destinations.
Norwegian now offers 58 transatlantic flights from 13 U.S. airports. Upcoming launches from the U.S. include: Fort Lauderdale to Barcelona (August 22); Denver to London (September 16); Seattle to London (September 17); Providence to Guadeloupe (October 29); Providence to Martinique (October 30); Fort Lauderdale to Martinique (October 30); New York/Newark to Rome (November 9); Los Angeles to Rome (November 11); Oakland/San Francisco to Rome (February 6, 2018); New York/Newark to Paris (February 28); Chicago to London (March 25); Austin to London (Mach 27); Denver to Paris (April 9); Oakland/San Francisco to Paris (April 10), and Boston to Paris (May 2).
Passengers on all of Norwegian’s routes are eligible to join Norwegian Reward, the airline’s frequent flyer program and can earn CashPoints every time they fly, stay at a hotel or drive a rental car.
