In a unique move, the West Bengal Tourism Development Corporation (WBTDCL) has decided to reward those travellers who will stay at the resorts of the state Tourism department during their tour and will share their experiences of their stint in the resort.
A senior official of the WBTDCL said that the people while touring in the different parts of the state or the country or abroad has a knack of sharing their experiences on social networking sites or on different travel websites and tour operators.
It is based on their staying experience in hotels or resorts that the travellers are encouraged to explore these places. West Bengal Tourism has decided to reward those people who will shower praises for the resorts.
Tanmoy Chakraborty, managing director of WBTDCL, said the reward for sharing experience will be either in the form of cash back or in the form of attractive discount in the next tour of the client when he books a government resort. The WBTDCL has its Facebook and Twitter page too through which a visitor can share his opinion and there is a dedicated team of officers who keeps constant track of such posts.
The email id of the managing director and general manager (operations) are mentioned in the reception of every resort.
The customers can always send their feedback or experience in the email which will reach them directly and they will keep a record.
