Alan O’Dea has been appointed as the managing director Campbell Gray Hotels.After a successful and varied 20-year career in the hospitality sector O’Dea joins here.
In Ireland he pursued a degree in in hotel and catering management at Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology and since then served several globally recognized hospitality groups.
He had spent 12 years with the Swiss-based Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts and resided in Paris, Zurich, Cairo and Dubai while serving as a senior vice president in Africa.
He earlier served as the regional director of revenue management, France, for Inter Continental Hotels Group and director of revenue management for Le Meridien Hotels in Paris.
O’Dea is perfectly positioned to take up the new role at Campbell Gray Hotels after spending time in Dubai.The other flagship properties include Le Gray in Beirut, Campbell Gray Living Hotel & Residences in Amman, Jordan, The Phoenicia in Malta and the, soon to open, The Merchant House in Bahrain set to open on January.
While this spring A Campbell Gray Hotel will open on Lake Zurich in Switzerland.His responsibilities include overseeing the day-to-day running of the company and ensure high-performance of its six hotels and its Campbell Gray Living arm.
