Odisha travel meet will focus on the tourism

Ashok-PandaOdisha Tourism Minister Ashok Panda invited all the tourism leaders and the private investors to invest in different destinations of Odisha to foster the tourism opportunity.



Recently, Odisha tourism gives a sway in promotion its brand in the Mumbai Metro. It is to attract the tourists of the urban area to take a glimpse on the Odisha’s beautiful secrets.



Ashok Panda, appealed the private investors to invest in tourism sector to participate in the first ever Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB), which is scheduled to be held in Bhubaneshwar on October 15 to 17, 2017.



The Odisha Travel Bazaar (OTB),will be organized by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha in partnership with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).



Addressing a road show, which is organized by FICCI in New Delhi for the upcoming event, Ashok Panda said that Odisha, the state in eastern India, is emerging as a priority destination for creative travelers for authentic experiences with its unique natural and cultural heritage, for a diverse and immersive travel experience to enjoy the absolute beauty of travel in a lifetime.



Odisha Travel Bazaar will give an opportunity to discover the various sectors of tourism business. He urged the stakeholders in the tourism sector to invest in Odisha and tap its full potential.



Nitin Bhanudas Jawale, Director & Additional Secretary of Odisha Tourism said that Odisha is now a state connected with all parts of India and the globe, so that it can easily to frame the business meet. While giving an elaborate presentation on the business opportunities and investment policies in Odisha, he stated that Odisha is the best place for the tourism opportunities and the business travels.



Nitin Bhanudas Jawale said that Odisha is promoting Beach Tourism; Eco Tourism; Buddhist Tourism; Heritage Tourism; Religious Tourism; Medical Tourism; Travel Tourism; Tribal Tourism; Wellness Tourism; Cruise Tourism; Sand Art Tourism and Adventure Tourism.


The aim of the Odisha Tourism Board is to ensure the participation of around 40 foreign tour operators, 10 top of the line inbound operators, 20 leading domestic tour operators from across India, 5 leading airlines – all will be hosted as buyers in the first edition of OTB.
