Come November 2018, holidaymakers from the South West will be even further spoilt for choice with the opportunity to explore the mystical volcanoes and glaciers in Iceland, shop for bargains at the local street markets in Marrakesh or soak up the sunshine in sunny Boa Vista, Cape Verde.
The decision to introduce new routes is part of the holiday company’s plans to offer customers as much choice as possible, ensuring customers across the UK can fly from their local airport and stay at the best hotels in some of the most enticing destinations.
Residents from in and around Bristol will now have the chance to visit some of TUI’s most popular flagship hotels including the all-inclusive adults only TUI SENSIMAR Medina Gardens in Marrakech which includes Arabic features such as a 200-year-old tower mixed with contemporary style. Holidaymakers can also relax and unwind at the desert oasis of the Platinum Clubhotel Riu Karamboa in Boa Vista, Cape Verde. And for cosy winter breaks, TUI also offers holidays to Iceland staying at the chic Fosshotel Reykjavik based in the heart of Iceland’s capital.
Karen Switzer, Director of Aviation Planning for TUI UK & Ireland, said:
“We’re excited that one of our first steps as TUI, a truly global brand, is to offer greater choice for our customers in the South West. Introducing the new routes from Bristol is a key part of our strategy to offer all our customers as much choice as possible to give them the holiday experience that best suits their individual needs. Holidaymakers in the South West will now wider access than ever before to our diverse collection of destinations and hotel concepts.”
Shaun Browne, Head of Airline Relations, Bristol Airport said:
