Muttrah – A trekker’s paradise!
Muttrah’s mountains are famous for trekking and hiking. The Muttrah Geo Trek, alternatively known as Riyam Walk, has an age old route and used by miners to traverse between the various areas of Muttrah. It overlooks the corniche promenade and offers a 365 degree view of the town.
Wadi Bani Khalid is known for its beautiful wadis in Oman. Situated in North Sharqiyah, it is bounded by scenery that entirely comes together with the clear blue waters. One has to be an ace swimmer to go into these pools, as few are pretty deep. Professional swimmers and divers do rush to this area to the impressive Wadi Bani Khalid to enjoy an exciting swimming session and diving experience.
Climbing in Hadash
Hadash in Nakhal in South Batinah, is well-known for the range of colourful hills and mountains, which are in agreement with some of the ancient houses and neighborhoods in the vicinity.
