P D Sona also described Arunachal as a fast emerging and one of the most preferred tourist spots in India. He hoped that initiations would be made in order to create good avenues and highlighting hospitality to outsiders to endorse tourism in the state.

While replying to a memorandum submitted to him in regards to flood protection, road connectivity and issue of bar license at the resort, Sona guaranteed to take a look into the works related to flood protection to defend the beautiful asset of the district.
