Pallav Singhal appointed as Hotel Manager at Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel

With an admirable background and culturally rich experience in the hospitality industry both overseas and across India, Pallav Singhal is a dynamic and charismatic presence.

 

With boundless determination and a clear vision for the future, Pallav now begins the next exciting chapter of his journey – as the Hotel Manager of Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel & Lakeside Chalet – Mumbai, Marriott Executive Apartments, Marriott India’s largest multi-dimensional lifestyle complex.

 

Pallav has been in the hospitality industry for over two decades and has extensively worked with the Hyatt group in India, Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa in Africa and multiple properties of Marriott International including JW Marriott, Fairfield By Marriott and Renaissance Ahmedabad Hotel which was his last assignment, where he was the General Manager.

 

A highly focused and experienced leader, Pallav in instrumental in managing the overall hospitality aspects ensuring complete customer satisfaction, streamlining operations, strategically improving revenues and achieving goals. He began his career as the Sous Chef in the kitchen at Grand Hyatt, Delhi and worked his way to becoming the Executive Chef at JW Marriott, Chandigarh.

 

With his eternal passion, progressive attitude and his ultimate purpose of ensuring a holistic approach, he advanced as the Director Food & Beverage at JW Marriott, Chandigarh and eventually elevated as the Hotel Manager forthe preopening property Fairfieldby Marriott, Belagavi. This property was also the first Fairfield property in India which was launched in a Tier 3 & 4 city.

 

His perseverance and excellence has garnered various awards and accolades including being recognized as the ‘Best Associate of the Year’ at Fairfield By Marriott Belagavi. Under his leadership, various properties won quarterly awards for ‘Highest Staff Service’ and ‘Highest Elite Appreciation’ and ‘Overall Hospitality Standards Improvement Award in East Africa’. JW Marriott’s three outlets won the ‘Best Restaurant Award’ for Times Good Food Guide Awards.

 

An eternal optimist with a mantra of ‘hiring better than yourself and training more than you were trained’, he believes in enriching the professional and personal front equally. In his forthcoming role, Pallav will be responsible for leading the overall operations and management of the hotel. He will also be functioning in the capacity of a tactical & strategic business leader for the hotel.With his expertise and fresh insights, he is expected to ensure a smooth transition for the upcoming brand change.

 

Pallav is an avid technology buff who is extremely keen on keeping up with the trends and gaining new learnings each day.
