Palm Beach County tourism sees increase in visitor numbers

Palm Beach County tourismAlthough the spring travel season has ended, Palm Beach County could see an increase in visitor numbers surrounding the now famous “winter White House”. Appearances by world leaders and President Trump himself are attracting tourists who are curious to catch a glance of history.

The election year saw a growth in visitors and the trend is likely to continue. To quote Glenn Jergensen, Executive Director of the Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council, “We actually welcomed about 7.4 million visitors to Palm Beach County and that was up about 6%.” Nick Gold, Director of Public Relations at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa said, “It has, I feel, elevated the status of Palm Beach around the world – that everybody knows who we are. And they want to come visit.”

Palm Beach County Tourist Development Council anticipates increase in visitors this year.
