Train blast in Parson Green, London, many injured, UK police investigates

londonCommuters in the Tube Train at Parson Green, West London witnessed a blast this morning, leaving several injured.


The situation has led to huge stampede and the police have started investigating about the accident.
Some of the witness confirmed that the object that exploded on the train earlier this morning was white in colour and placed in a bucket contained in Lidl bag. The passengers’ bags were scattered across the carriage.

Richard Aylmer-Hall, a commuter  said that he was in a good mood reading the paper and listening to the podcast and suddenly everything changed. There was a lot of panic and people shouting and screaming. A women reported that she saw a bag followed by a flash and a bang in the absolutely packed, rush-hour District Line train plying from Wimbledon to Edgware Road.

The police rushed to the incident, six ambulances, fire engines and a helicopter could be spotted at the site of explosion.Some passengers suffered facial burns from the blast while others were hurt in the stampeded.

The London police mentioned on Twitter that they were aware of the incident and the police were in attendance. The facts regarding the incident will soon be out once the police receive the accurate data. London Ambulance, Fire Brigade, paramedics and firefighters were present.

There will be no service between Earls Court and Wimbledon on the District Line that runs via Parsons Green. Earlier, Britain had suffered four attacks by terrorists which killed 36 people.
