Delta Chief Executive Officer Ed Bastian said in a note that the passenger displayed behaviour which was loud, rude and disrespectful to his fellow customers; and thus will not be allowed on any Delta plane ever again.
A video was shared from Flight 248, travelling to Allentown, Pennsylvania, from Atlanta which showed that a passenger was yelling at others. It was shared on social media and the passenger was heard to use some profane language.
Following the incident, Delta Airlines issued an apology stating that the “behaviour we see in this video does not square with our training or culture.”
The apology statement also included that it is the airlines responsibility for ensuring all customers feel safe and comfortable with Delta includes requiring civil behaviour from everyone.
