A spokesperson for Delta said that flight 1939 that was heading to Atlanta from Pittsburg had to be diverted to Knoxville around 4.30. The airliner mentioned to the news media that one of the 149 passengers had suddenly made a complaint about an unnatural odor inside the cabin of the aircraft.
Thereafter, the plane has landed at McGhee Tyson airport.
But then, the mechanics examined the plane thoroughly and determined that there was no issue with the plane.
After inspection, the plane again took off and landed safely in Atlanta that was its initial destination. It was an hour behind its schedule. None of the crew members or passengers have been injured on account of the emergency landing.
