british-airwaysAn aircraft of British Airways that was travelling to London from Bangkok had to go for an emergency landing at Heathrow airport after a passenger had fallen ill on board the flight.

The Boeing 777-236 jet was carrying many passengers.

Thereafter it landed safely after declaring an emergency over southeastern England at the end of a 12-hour flight.

A spokesperson of British Airways told a news media agency that the incident was actually associated with a medical emergency. In a statement the airline stated that the safety of their customers and crew members is always their priority.

Last month the engine of an airplane of British Airways had burst into flames while taking off a run way at an airport in Arizona. It forced the packed aircraft to make an emergency landing. This London-bound flight started emitting sparks from its engine during the journey.

And this plane was later forced to return to the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and then landed safely.
