Speaking at an event that was organized by Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Lalitpur, stakeholders suggested to the residents of Patan that the establishment of home stay facilities would actually help draw an increased number of tourists to the area.
Representatives of 42 Tole Sudhar Samiti that is the locality improvement committee and civil society participated in the event that highlighted the requirement to manage a three-day home stay scheme so that tourists would be able to visit a large number of cultural and heritage sites. Along side that, they would also feel encouraged to observe the local traditional practices.
During this occasion, Surendra Bhakta Pradhananga said that the home staying service would have a major impact on the tourism industry of Patan and would also go a long way in promoting Patan Durbar Square among international tourists.
The Krishna Temple and Patan Museum are among the most popular tourist attractions of the region of Patan.
Patan is also home to some beautiful cultural architecture.
Home stay service offers a unique experience of residing with the local inhabitants of a particular place. The facility has been gaining popularity in several tourist locales in the country recently.
