After a 16-year career with brands such as Accor, De Vere, Malmaison and Hotel du Vin he will join the largest collection of independent hotels in Great Britain in mid-February.
Tim Rumney, chairman of Best Western Great Britain was positive about Rob’s appointment as their business was evolving. In the past three years the standards of their member and associate member hotels have improved. They have expanded from one to ten brands and appealed to more guests than ever before.
Rob holds a track record in hospitality, digital and commercial performance is impressive and he will join at an exciting time during Best Western’s 70-year journey.
Paterson will head as the chief of Interchange & Consort Hotels, the parent company of Best Western Great Britain and its purchasing company, Beacon.
Paterson was looking forward to build on the great work of the last three years and continuing to grow the appeal of Best Western for hoteliers, investors and guests.
