After a three-year term Paul Pennicook, director of tourism departs from the Jamaica Tourist Board (JBT).
He officially stepped down on August 1, he held the same role between 2003 and 2006 returning to JT in July 2014.
Paul Pennicook, director of tourism for the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB), has stood down following the end of his three-year term.
Donnie Dawson, deputy director of tourism sale will be serving as the acting tourism director during the interim while the JTB is still on the lookout for his replacement.
Pennicook responsibility during his tenure was to spearhead and oversee the promotion of Jamaica’s tourist industry worldwide.
JTB appreciated Pennicook’s contribution mentioning in his role as a director he paid much attention in modernizing the operations.
He had strong relationships with the industry partners and remained at the forefront of the travel industry.
