The traveller just needs to check in after their arrival, like one does at a hotel. After the check in, the traveller can get unlimited access to gobble the food and drink offered by the cafe. They need not pay the cafe for the food or drink, but they need to pay the 6p per minute charge during their stay.
Ziferblat pay-as-you-stay café has got two branches in Liverpool and Manchester. At the café, along with the unlimited food, the travellers will get to enjoy unlimited high-speed wifi.
The owner of the café, Colin Shenton has informed that some of the travellers take advantage of this unusual business model, where they just stay for three minutes or so to gorge on food and leave after paying only 18p. It has also been found that some visitors stay for hours.
According to Shenton, their pricing mechanism is completely unique and if somebody feels they want to come in and eat as much as humanly possible that’s absolutely fine.
Shenton has also informed that as it is costly in the south, it is very unlikely that he would open a branch in London.
