PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) has recently announced that it has observed strong financial growth and record revenue numbers at the final press conference that was held in its annual Convening Leaders event that had taken place in Nashville.
The venue was Music City Center and it took place between 7th and 10th January, 2018.
Reporting on its membership, currently there are over 7,000 business event strategists globally. Over half of the PCMA membership body had joined nearly 4,500 total attendees at this year’s Convening Leaders.
Financially, the revenues of PCMA have also shown record increases to $19 million USD with partnership activity contributing about $6.5 million USD in 2017.
Its revenue streams and brands presently include Convening Leaders, ICESAP, the Digital Experience Institute and Convene magazine.
The growth of PCMA is supported by the PCMA Education Foundation that has also declared record numbers this week and raised $1.83 million USD thanks to many activities in 2017 with $493,000 USD awarded through scholarships and grants during the same year.
Such a record success has grown under Deborah Sexton’s leadership as CEO and it is a position that she has been holding since the year 2005.
