Scheduled to be held from August 18 to 21 at SPICE Arena, it is slated to be the largest food and beverage (F&B) and hospitality event ever held.
AFF 2016 chief executive officer, Lee Chan Wai said more than 1,500 chefs are expected at the event held in collaboration with Penang Chef Organisation.
There will also be a “Jom Makan Penang” programme where more than 100 food trucks of local food will be available.
For coffee lovers, the event will also gather barista’s from around the world for the Latte Art and 3D Coffee Art Competition.
Penang island well known as a food paradise will abuzz with visitors during the event.
In 2014, Penang hosted AFF and attracted more than 25,000 visitors during the three-day event held at SPICE Arena.
