He will be based in the Sky Lobby located on the 23rd floor and will be greeting guests and complementing hotel services through engaging and playful entertainment.
Pepper will be completely integrated into the hotel room, will act as a colleague and will be more than a lobby fixture.
The four-foot tall Pepper will be able to discern the guest’s gender, age and mood. It has large expressive eyes and life like movements and gestures.
Pepper will be providing personalised communication by detecting facial, body and voice cues. It will interact in a natural and intuitive way. Property specific questions can be answered apart from giving directions, telling stories and posing for a selfie.
Donald Bowman, the general manager said that he was delighted to welcome Pepper to the Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas team and said that Pepper will provide the guests with the option of receiving hotel assistance and information in exciting and innovative way.
He will also be a source of entertainment and will be able to surprise the guests of all ages.
