This theme park would be coming up in the Philippines and would be created in Barangay Guinhalaran, Silay City. Alfredo Benitez who is the Third District Representative is actually the main participant of the project. He said that the Negros Island is beautiful and this theme park would be the first step to its discovery.
This park would be sited on a 3.75 hectare plot at a distance of nearly 12 kms away from Bacolod City.
The plan is that the theme park would be opened by the summer of 2018. The groundbreaking ceremony of the projected by Ken Quintal and it is estimated that it would be able to accommodate up to 3,000 visitors a day.
One of the park’s 15 rides would be the tallest Ferris wheel in the Visayas.
The other rides include go-karts, kiddie rides, carousels, thrill rides and roller coasters. Furthermore, there would also be arcade games and a haunted house.
Cesar Mario Mamon is the president of The Philippines’ world leading theme park that is the Enchanted Kingdom. He stated that they are opening their doors to investors for this massive project.
Mark Golez who is the mayor said that the development of this theme park in Silay City would contribute to investments in community support, tourism revenues, tax revenues and infrastructure. He also said that the theme parks are extremely essential in generating demand for the tourism business.
Reynaldo Bantug, the president of Aton Land is believed to operate the $12 million theme park project.
Adjacent to Magic Island, an additional 24.25 hectares would be developed into a planned commercial, residential and hotel area. This would serve the dining and retail requirements of the tourists to Magic Island.
