Flight attendants at Piedmont Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines Group, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA-CWA), have voted to ratify a new five-year collective bargaining agreement that was reached on March 6. The new contract was ratified by the airline’s 180 flight attendants who are based in Harrisburg, Penn.; Salisbury, Md.; Charlottesville, Va.; Roanoke, Va. and New Bern, N.C. Details of the agreement will be made available by AFA-CWA.
“We are very pleased the flight attendants at Piedmont Airlines have voted to ratify the new collective bargaining agreement that recognizes their contribution to Piedmont,” said Steve Farrow, Piedmont Airlines president and CEO. “We thank the Piedmont AFA-CWA leadership for their dedication in supporting our professional flight attendants and we also thank the National Mediation Board and the mediator overseeing our negotiations, John Livingood, for their assistance in reaching the agreement.”
